This workshop will present an introduction to the emerging role of the accountant as strategic advisor to business and government sectors. It will contrast the traditional role of the accountant as the custodian of financial records and the analyser of financial performance with the emerging role of the accountant as consultant to business and government across a broad range of important issues.
